Public Skating: Glide and Twirl

The heart of the arena is its public skating sessions. Open to skaters of all ages and abilities, it's a perfect way to enjoy a healthy and fun activity alone, with family, or friends. The welcoming environment ensures that everyone, from toddlers taking their first steps on ice to seasoned skaters, feels at home. The admission is budget-friendly too - free for YMCA members and only $5 for the public. Don't worry about equipment; skate rentals are available at just $5.

Stick & Puck: For the Hockey Enthusiasts

Got a flair for hockey? The Stick & Puck sessions are tailor-made for you! Open to hockey players of all skill levels, these sessions offer the chance to hone your shooting and stick handling skills, or engage in friendly scrimmages. Safety is paramount, so helmets and hockey gloves are mandatory, with full equipment recommended. YMCA members can access these sessions for $5, while the public fee is $10.

Hockey

We can't mention the Martha's VIneyard Ice Rink without also talking about hockey.  A favorite winter sport among New Englander's the rink is home to Youth Hockey, High School Hockey and Adult Hockey leagues as well.  It's amazing to have a rink to host games and practices. Figure Skating: Pirouettes and Axels

Aspiring figure skaters, here's your stage! The arena provides additional practice time for those looking to polish their figure skating skills. Regardless of your level, this is a great opportunity to work on your craft in a supportive environment. Sessions are priced at $20 for YMCA members and $25 for the public​.

The Puck Stop & The Food Truck: Culinary Delights on Ice

After a skating session, refuel at The Puck Stop, a cozy concession stand inside the rink, or visit The Food Truck parked outside. The Food Truck, open for lunch from Monday to Friday between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., offers a delightful pub-style menu. Their signature dishes include lemon salt and rosemary french fries and a tantalizing burger. It's a fantastic spot to unwind and satisfy your cravings, conveniently located with ample parking.
